Hi. Subject title states the blimming obvious. My Dell Studio 1537 running Windows Premium's takiing up to half a minute or more to log on after Windows has loaded. It's been doing this for over a week now. I looked on a couple of online forums, but instructions weren't very clear on how to speed the log on process up. Could anyone make things a bit clearer?

Hmm, I take it that you're using Windows Vista?

To Post 1:

If this is indeed Vista, then the following should help you out: http://www.blackviper.com/WinVista/servicecfg.htm

No, its not completely accessible, and its not easy to do, but that might fix your slow logon issues, if you follow the recommended services config.

Did you already try taking things out of start up as well?

Not just startup, what about services?
